Gabriele Di Sazio graduated as a director from the London College of Communications with a BA in Film Practice. During his teenage years, he developed his cinematic knowledge and shooting acumen under the tutelage of Italian journalist and screenwriter Ugo Barbara as well as Italian directors Marco Amenta and Emanuele Crialese. Since then, he has been writing and directing his own short films to great critical success. Gabriele has also worked as a camera operator and assistant director on numerous short films and commercials.




Disi Guo majored in Engineering during her undergraduate studies in China. For the next nine years, she built her expertise in the Marketing and Public Relations department for BMW China. She has produced experiential marketing events for more than 20 countries, winning three international advertisement awards. In 2018, Disi wrote and directed a commercial which was launched on Chinese video websites in September. She is also one of few female drivers to achieve the highest-level BMW Driver Training Track License in China.




Christina Yang graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in English Literature. She went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California School of Law. After practicing corporate litigation, Christina completed the Professional Program for Screenwriting at the University of California Los Angeles School of Theater, Film, and Television.

Born and raised in Mumbai, India, Aakash Raj found his love for making images by sketches and illustration in his childhood. He carried this passion to convey stories on bigger canvas as a gaffer and AC on 11 features and over 250 commercials before graduating to cinematography. In his highly decorated seven years as a director of photography, Aakash has shot six feature films, fifteen short films, and over 20 commercials. He won The Dadasaheb Phalke Best Cinematography award for the Hindi film TEEN AUR AADHA and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Pune International Short Film Festival for the short BAWDI. He shot the ad campaign for BAJAJ V INVINCIBLE INDIANS, garnering him the award for The Most Effective Ad Campaign 2017 at The Brand and Leadership Conclave. His short films have won awards and nominations at the Clermont Ferrand Film Festival-France and Digital Box Office Awards-Los Angeles, among others.




After moving to Los Angeles at the age of 18, Skylar has been living the dream in the world of filmmaking. With a BFA in Film Production, Skylar worked as a writer/director and producer on shorts, music videos, and feature films before jumping into editing. In 2015, she directed the official music video "Get Loud (the sounds)" for "Spero," a San Diego-based rock band. Before attending AFI, she has been working as an associate programmer and editor at Cinema at the Edge Film Festivals. In 2016, Skylar co-founded the LA-based production company TWO DUDES, LLC in 2016 with her partner Arndt Werling.
